Etapa 10: Almadén de la Plata – Cazalla de la Sierra
|

Esta exigente etapa, la de mayor longitud del GR-48 (45 Km.), recorre zonas de máxima protección del Parque Natural Sierra Norte de Sevilla. Podremos observar multitud de ecosistemas que justifican la elevada biodiversidad de este tramo. Comunidades prehistóricas, fenicios, romanos o andalusíes son ejemplos de las numerosas culturas que han recorrido estas sierras a través del cordel del Pedroso que nos guiará hasta el río Viar.

This demanding stage, the longest one in GR-48 (45 Km), covers the highest protection zones of “Sierra Norte de Sevilla” Natural Park. We will observe the numerous ecosystems that justify the large biodiversity existing at that point. Prehistoric communities, Phoenicians, Romans or Andalusia people are some examples of the numerous cultures that have travelled around these lands through “Pedroso cordel”, a green livestock road which will guide us to Viar’s River.
