Etapa 4: Cumbres Mayores – Hinojales
|

Durante esta etapa nos iremos hacia el sur. Alejándonos del paisaje fronterizo entre Andalucía y Extremadura y adentrándonos en una zona más umbría donde quejigos y alcornoques dan fe de la humedad y del cercano nivel freático, ofreciendo la oportunidad de encontrar uno de los pocos rodales de castaños, símbolo de estas sierras. Aunque parte del trazado será por asfalto, disfrutaremos de unas inmejorables panorámicas de valles salpicados por pueblos onubenses y extremeños.

During this stage we will make our way to south. Moving away from the frontier landscape between Andalucia and Extremadura, and going deep into a shadier place where Portuguese oaks and cork oaks testify the presence of humidity and the closeness to ground waters, offering the chance of finding one of the few chestnuts plots of land, typical of these lands.
Although a large part of this route will be carried out on the paving road, we will enjoy of an incomparable and beautiful landscape of valleys surrounded by Huelva and Extremadura towns
