Etapa 15: Posadas – Almodóvar del Río
|
|
Esta etapa marca la transición entre la vega del Guadalquivir y Sierra Morena. Durante el camino encontraremos un interesante legado patrimonial representado en cortijos ganaderos, muros de piedra, molinos, torres vigías árabes y el Castillo de Almodóvar, imponente sobre el cerro que lo acoge. De gran interés botánico son los “Acebuches Centenarios”, registrados como árboles singulares de la provincia de Córdoba.

This stage marks the transition between Guadalquivir fertile lowlands and Sierra Morena. During the walk we will find an interesting cultural heritage represented in farms, stone walls, mills, Arabic watchtower and the castle of Almodovar, imposing on the hill where it is located at. Of a great botanic interest are “the centenary wild olive trees” registered as peculiar trees located here in the province of Cordoba.
